Baribeau Construction is excited to be moving out of the design phase and into construction for the new Mount Salem Christian School. The school has been running out of the Mount Salem Community Church and outside portables buildings since the school began 36 years ago and they are very eager to have their own building to grow the school and be able to offer more robust programs to their student community. We have a great team lined up for this project and look forward to seeing the vision of this space come together over the coming months.
The Mount Salem Christian School engaged Baribeau Construction to lead the planning and coordination of a new 38,104 square foot school for children from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Longevity and practicality were the primary elements that drove the design. By consulting local "Trade Champions" during the design process, the team specified many elements that could be constructed affordably while incorporating some of the toughest building materials where abuse is inevitable. The design took into consideration the future growth of the school and planned for a 17,000 square foot addition. The project will break ground in 2023 and is scheduled to be completed by early summer 2024.
